Nottingham Playhouse Young Critics Theatre Review Writing Workshop

Think you’d enjoy a career writing theatre reviews for national newspapers and magazines? Are you based in the East Midlands and aged 16-25?

I’ll be leading the Nottingham Playhouse’s new Young Critics workshop, which starts this September. It involves a couple of hours of learning how to write and fine-tune a review, before watching the show you’re going to review.

You can read more about the course and book your place on the Playhouse website.

  • Learn how to craft a professional theatre review
  • Get your review published on the Nottingham Playhouse website
  • Entry to 5 different theatre show press nights included in the course price
  • Gain your Bronze Arts Award
  • Great for building your CV if you’re looking to become a professional writer or journalist.
  • Looks good when applying for related further education courses (ie if you’re applying to study English, Drama, Journalism, Creative Writing etc)

I look forward to meeting you and helping you take the next step towards a successful career in writing.
