Rosanna – Director

Rosanna Elliott is a Cornwall-based theatre director, creative producer and facilitator with over fifteen years’ experience across professional theatre, new writing and participatory practice. She has worked with organisations including the National Theatre, Royal Shakespeare Company, Bristol Old Vic, Headlong, Hall for Cornwall and the Minack Theatre. Through Canvas Theatre, she has championed emerging artists and new writing, including producing and directing Olivia Lowry’s The Coastguard’s Daughter which had a sell out tour across Cornwall.

Dan McGarry – Dramaturg

Dan is an actor, writer and director who has been making theatre for over 20 years. He toured the world as an actor/musician for 10 years before shifting his focus to writing and directing about 10 years ago. Back in the 2000s, Dan was living in St Ives, but now commissioned by Hull Truck Theatre and Northampton’s Royal & Derngate, he visits Cornwall as often as he can. His interest in Golow Lulynn is rooted in his own family experience. Having a mother as an artist and educator meant many times were spent in studios, galleries, firing pottery and taking trips to buy clay! His mother still works as an artist and retains her own studio, a place that Dan feels very much at home in.
